D’CAKE is
the acronym for D’ Confectionery of Asian Kueh Expertise.

‘D’ signifies the company promise of delicious products and delighted
customers.
The word ‘CAKE’
being the direct translation of the Chinese dialect Hokkien word ‘kueh’
will add as a brand name for the general household.

The colour red
is used to symbolise the famous Chinese Asian traditional cake, ‘Ang Ku
Kueh’, which is one of the specialties of the company; and which
symbolises wealth, longevity, prosperity and good fortune.
The dark green,
spelling out the company full name, is specially selected to represent
green pandan leaves which are commonly used in traditional Asian cakes
making, thus reflecting the commitment of the company towards preserving
tradition while providing quality and high standard food products. This
commitment is also well reflected in our slogan, ‘Traditional Taste of
your Desire’.
The stroke of
lighter green, embracing the idea from an old Chinese idiom of the young
doing better than the old (qin chu yu lan); will also serve as a reminder
to leverage on technology and constantly seek improvement to our products
and processes. The stroke being on an up-slope also depicts the company
growth and progress above the rest of the competitors.
Finally, the
presence of green colour in our logo denotes the devotion of the company
towards globalisation (green as in earth) as well as the support for a
greener earth.

D’CAKE is engaged principally in the manufacturing, marketing and
distribution of food products in Singapore, including consumers direct.
Our Products
Products manufactured include traditional Chinese and western
confectionery. Only vegetable oil and the freshest and most wholesome
ingredients are used at all times. During production, no preservative is
used.
Main products
under the Chinese confectionery range include Ang Ku Kueh, Chinese
vegetarian dumpling, yam paste (for both fillings and desserts) and
others. For western confectionery, key products include durian / mango
puffs / crepes / cakes, cheesecakes / tarts, and other pastries.
Our
Technology
D’CAKE is the only Ang Ku Kueh manufacturer in Singapore to used the joint
technologies of fast freezing and vacuum packaging to manufacture and to
maintain the quality of the products without the use of preservative.
D’CAKE is
also one of the few food manufacturing companies in the industry to have
automated the main processes of manufacturing Ang Ku Kuehs. With the
automation, the company is capable of producing 2400 Ang Ku Kuehs per hour
with the support of only 2 men.
