Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) is the culmination of the watershed merger between the former Chinese High School (b.1919) and Hwa Chong Junior College (b.1974) in 2005. A premier learning institution in Singapore, HCI has produced 46 President's Scholars - the highest number among all junior colleges to date.
