Mustafa has seen impressive growth since its inception. The first shop was established in 1971 in Campbell Lane in Little India, selling ready made garments.
In 1985 it took a small space for its store at Serangoon Plaza. Over the years, it was expanded and today it is 75000 sq ft big.
In 1995, it took over few shop-houses at Syed Alwi Road and made them into a 70000 sq ft big shopping centre having 6 levels.
