The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) opened its doors in 1938 with 14 students in Fine Art to embark on a bold artistic journey challenging convention and embracing change. Since then, it has grown from strength to strength and transformed itself into Singapore’s pre-eminent, full-fledged arts institution, producing a long line of outstanding artists, performers, designers and illustrious alumni.

Today, NAFA has earned an international reputation for its high-quality curricula, innovative teaching, artistic creations and community outreach.

OUR FACILITIES & MANAGEMENT
Since July 2004, NAFA has been operating at our new purpose-built campus at Bencoolen Street which boasts state-of-the-art facilities and modern amenities. The new campus heralds a new chapter in NAFA’s history as an arts institution of excellence. Behind the scenes, NAFA is deftly steered by a dynamic and dedicated management team. Our top notch infrastructure and management support will keep NAFA humming as a hotbed for nurturing aspiring youths in the arts and creative fields for many years to come.
