This Museum documents the history of modern medical care in Singapore from 1819 with the arrival of Sir Stamford Raffles and has a display of more than 100 artefacts from the past like the travelling baby weighing machine, forceps, foetal scope etc.

From a network of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) clinics, Outpatient Dispensaries (OPDs) in the late 19th century to the Polyclinics' acknowledged position as a leader in the first line of healthcare provision today, the NHG Polyclinics' (NHGP) Gallery of Memories chronicles the rise of primary healthcare in Singapore.

Highlights:

Be moved by the struggles of ordinary men and women faced with extraordinary challenges, the very people who overcame health problems from malnutrition and smallpox to help develop today's generation of healthy Singaporeans.   Be amazed by the major transformation in primary health services - from the small scattered Outpatient Dispensaries, Travelling Dispensaries, Domicilliary Delivery Services and Maternal and Child Health Clinics of the past, to the large modern Polyclinics of today.
