Corporate Relocations

Raffles Movers International with well maintained and fully functional, facilities, equipments, excellent warehouse and materials, provide comprehensive moving solutions and relocation services to corporate employees and their transferring families throughout the world.

Our trained and experienced corporate relocation staff, handles arrangements for professional packing, transportation, storage, LCL consolidations or FCL container movements along with inland movements to provide our clients with a complete door to door service worldwide.

International Relocations

We are committed to minimize this stress to make your international move, hassle free and successful for you and your family.

All your personal and household effects for the move will be packed at your residence by our professionally trained and experienced packing crew under the supervision of an English speaking crew leader. Raffles Movers will only be using the finest quality and standardized packing materials, which include bubble wrap, newsprint paper, kraft paper, tissue paper, corrugated rolls, cushion pads, card board sheets, various sizes of reinforced cartons, hanging wardrobe cartons, etc. Selected fragile items are packed in to customized crates for safe transit.

Raffles Movers have an extensive network of carefully selected agents as our moving partners worldwide. They will be responsible for the customs clearance, delivery and unpacking of your shipments as per service terms mentioned in our moving proposal.

Raffles Movers will prepare all necessary export documentations and coordinate customs formalities required for your international move.

Pethandling

Pet moving policies keep changing in every country due to the volnerablity. You need to keep yourself updated with information for the country you are planning to move in to. Raffles Movers customers are kept informed and updated of all requirements of moving your pet to your destination, before they are handed over to Raffles Movers for relocation.

Office Relocations

Relocating your business to a new premise creates disruption for everybody in your organization. We understand this fact and follow a professional and methodical approach in this regard. A detailed relocation plan will be drafted to suit your specific needs with least disruption to your daily office administration.

Domestic Move

Our domestic move service includes professional packing or wrapping of all items. Blanket pads, plastic containers and other reusable materials are used to ensure adequate protection as well as to preserve the environment. All valuables, antiques and fragile items packed and handled with care.

Transportation: Raffles Movers use well maintained containerized moving trucks for safe transit.

Unpacking & Placement: Upon reaching your new residential premises, all furniture items after unloading will be unpacked, assembled and positioned and all cartons will be placed in respective rooms in consultation with you. A full unpacking service is also available upon request. All debris will be removed thereafter.

Inbound Services

When an inbound shipment is entrusted to Raffles Movers, you are in safe hands. The moment the inbound client arrives in Singapore, we lay out the red carpet. Our staff representative welcomes the new arrivals with a friendly placard bearing their name, right at Changi International airport. From there they are chauffeured in the absolute luxury of a Mercedes Benz limousine en route to their new residence or hotel.

Raffles Movers will arrange for collection of inbound shipment from sea port or air port. Import documentation will be coordinated with our customers one week in advance of the vessel’s arrival date. Upon arrival, Air or sea shipments can be cleared & delivered within 2(two) and 3 (three) working days respectively.

To ease your coordination efforts, one of our senior executive will serve as your single point of contact for all information and communications concerning your relocation.

Upon the delivery of your items at the new residence, Raffles Movers expert crew will unload, unpack, assemble and arrange all your items in the respective rooms, according to your instructions. We will ensure that all books, kitchenware, ornaments and décor and toiletries are appropriately placed into assigned cupboards, furniture or storage place

All spare packing materials and debris will be collected and cleared to leave the new place clean and ready for occupancy.

Handyman & Maid services (upon request)
Our expert handyman can assist you in all your home improvement needs as you move in to your new home.Tasks such as installation of wall fixtures, paintings and decors and connection of audiovisual equipment and home appliances all can be implemented efficiently. All our customers with an FCL inbound shipment get a complimentary handyman service. Raffles Movers will also arrange to provide trained house maids to tidy everything up.

Storage and Warehousing

Raffles Movers International has over 22,000 square feet of specifically designed warehousing and storage facility with properly laid out floor plan with fire prevention construction, and provided with high levels of security with adequate parking facilities for all kinds of vehicles, including container trucks.

Our Warehouse is managed and controlled under effective warehouse maintenance program and schedules related with cleaning of the premises, pest control measures, fire protection procedures and other needed safety measures.

All appropriate warehouse handling equipments, required tools and materials are supplied with, to ensure smooth loading, unloading and handling of goods/shipments

We provide two kinds of storage facilities; permanent storage and storage in transit (SIT) for international shipments and domestic household goods. All goods/shipments under storage are properly labeled with relevant information and details and traceable under our quick retrieval control system. All permanent storage shipments have been allotted to a special and less active section of our warehouse. Separate area in Raffles warehouse is allotted for oversized items, packing materials, re cycling materials and carpentry work. Air conditioned storage facilities have also been provided.

Periodical inventory reports are taken and goods/shipments under storage are physically inspected, under a properly implemented warehouse management program/system.

All goods/shipments/property under storage, are covered under appropriate and adequate insurance policies.
