Our chefs are well trained and qualified with extensive experience (Indian cuisine). They had been working in five star deluxe hotels in India. Our food is always cooked fresh everyday.
Our cuisine is authentic North Indian. We have a large variety of Tandoori and Curry dishes. The chefs can also cook special dishes outside of the regular menu.

The Indian cuisine is as diverse as its culture, languages and regions The staples of Indian cuisine are rice, atta (a special type of whole-wheat flour) and at least five dozen varieties of pulses. The subtle blend of particular spices such as Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Asafoetida etc., give Indian food its distinct flavor.

ABOUT US:

We at Singapore are dedicated to providing excellent authentic Indian food. Since Indian cuisine varies from region to region, we have tried to include a sampling of dishes from the entire India reflecting the varied taste of different regions. The recipes of entrees included are time tested with correct combination of herbs and spices.

We believe homemade food is always better. To serve the most authentic food, we make our own yogurt and cheese everyday. Our food is cooked with minimum of oil and no MSG. We do not use any preservatives. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch in our kitchen. While practicing authentic Indian cuisine, we also use our own imagination and creativity to introduce new and innovative dishes.

The range of Culinary delights are as varied as the land itself. The Cuisine is as ancient as its civilization, and has evolved over thousands of years while absorbing influences from the Mughals, the Persians, the Zoroastrians and the Portuguese.

KABAB CORNER (TANDOOR)

Tandoor is a charcoal fired clay oven used in northern India. It is a large urn-like pot made as a result the meats that are cooked in it attain their characteristic smoked flavor. The Tandoor is also known by another name of 'Bhatti' in India. The Bhatti tribe of the Thar Desert of Northwestern India and Eastern Pakistan developed the Bhatti in their desert abode, and thus it gained the name of Bhatti. It is thought to have travelled to Central Asia and the Middle East along with the Roma, who originated amongst the Thar Desert tribes.
